Architectural Sankul conducted heritage visit to Indulibagh on 27th January 2019
Architectural Sankul on the occasion of India’s 70th Republic day organized a heritage walk to Shiv Mandir, Indulibagh, Nagpur on 27th January 2019, which was one of the garden built during Bhonsle rule and hold patriotic values. Architectural Sankul conducts series of such heritage walks and visit every fortnight
Ar. Madhura Rathod and Ar. Nitika Ramani explained the importance of rich heritage in Nagpur and the unknow facts and stories of Indulibagh which included the Shiv Mandir, the boundary wall, step well and the Hanuman Mandir.
The reason for selection of this site was unique as this Bhonsle era shiv temple is one such architectural marvel where Orissan, Rajasthani and Islamic influences are boldly reflected and the technicalities of the temple construction was explicitly conveyed to the participants.
