INTACH HERITAGE CLUB INSTALLATION AT
SHRINIVAS PUBLIC SCHOOL, SEMINARY HILLS,NGP
On 13-09-2019, INTACH HERITAGE CLUB was installed at Women’s Education Society’s Shrinivas Public School, Seminary Hills, Nagpur.
Mr. Kishor Divekar ( Convenor , INTACH Nagpur Chapter), Dr. Madhura Rathod ( Co-Convenor , INTACH Nagpur Chapter & Director- AS) and Ar. Nitika Ramani ( Executive Committee Member , INTACH Nagpur Chapter & Director- AS) were the Guest invited for the occasion.
Establishing Heritage Club in Schools of Nagpur is the joint venture of INTACH Nagpur Chapter and Architecture Sankul, Nagpur.
At Shrinivas Public School, The Principal, Mrs. Archana Nandapurkar along with the two heritage club incharge teachers- Mrs. Pallavi Landge & Mrs Kalpana arranged this program with the intention to encourage young students to be aware about rich Indian Heritage. The guest were welcomed by the Principal with beautiful saplings. Dr. Madhura Rathod addressed the students and motivated them to know that being the bright ,young citizen’s of tomorrow’s India they hold the responsibility to preserve , conserve and restore the past fot the future.
Various issues like water conservation, following the food culture, festivals, costumes traditions etc are the need of the time- said Dr. Rathod. Students actively interacted with the guests and showed their enthusiasm to contribute by writing articles, poems, sketching, painting and film making.
INTACH Nagpur Chapter has promised the schools to help in all possible ways to keep the mission going.
Ar. Nitika Ramani read the pledge and the program concluded by distributing Heritage passports and badges to the Students.
